about

Keystone Healthcare Development Corporation is a non-profit real estate development company created to provide expertise and capital to support the growth of Health Centers (i.e.) Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Rural Health Clinics (RHC’s), Economic Development Agencies, and hospitals in medically underserved and economically depressed areas of the region.

In Pennsylvania alone it is estimated that $300,000,000 is required to support the capital needs of all health centers.   Keystone is an outgrowth of the realization that Health Centers do not have the financial capacity to meet the capital needs of these health centers AND that the Multi Service Facility is the best model to meet the health care needs of the underserved community.

The business model of Keystone is comprised of these main steps:

  1. Work with interested communities and health centers to identify funding necessary to construct Health Care Multi- Service facilities.
  2. Recruit tenants including but not limited to health care centers, hospitals, pharmacies and other community organizations.
  3. Select a site and design a building to meet the needs of the partners.
  4. Secure funding that permits construction of the facility and provides operating capital for the health center.
  5. Oversee the construction of the building from start to finish.
